Studio
Concretica is an architecture and interior design studio creating unique commercial, public and living spaces in between Indonesia and Russia.
Founded in 2014, we work across climates and cultures — from tropical coastal sites to dense northern cities. The tension between these contexts shapes our practice: every project begins with a deep reading of place, its light, its ground and its routines.
We are a small studio by choice. This allows us to give every commission the attention it deserves, from the first sketch to the last detail on site.
Architecture, for us, is an act of careful listening before it is ever an act of making.
Principles
Material Honesty
We use materials for what they are, not what they can pretend to be. Concrete shows its grain. Wood shows its growth.
Endurance over Trend
A building will outlive the moment it was made in. We design for the long arc, not the next decade.
Place before Program
The land has a logic before we arrive. Our first task is always to understand it, then respond to it.
